Throughout the War of the Star Saga, there were a number of contradicting references to power. In the original film from 1977, Obi-Wan Luke told that power was a spiritual idea and that it lives in everyone, but can only be controlled by a few people. However, the Prequel trilogy then introduced the concept of the “Midi-Chlorines”.
Regardless of the fan opinions on Midi-Chlorines or power as an energy field, there is no doubt that there have been some fantastic, fascinating quotes over the years over the years.
In the over 40-year history of Star Wars, power has remained a difficult to understand, mysterious phenomenon that was not only involved in a variety of theories, some amazing stories and has improved many characters , but also led to some of the best of the franchise. Regardless of whether they come from the Skywalker saga or the cartoon series, the power is in an apparently constant state of research, and quotes have always been a great way to illustrate the subtleties and the meaning of power.
10- “I have no doubt that this boy is the descendant of Anakin Skywalker … The power is strong with him.” – The emperor
The imperator refers to Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader as if they were two different people. With regard to the audience, this prevents us from being able to guess the great unveiling that Vader is Luke’s father-possibly the biggest plot twist ever-but it also works in character.
The imperator used Anacin’s impulses of the dark side to transform it into a killing machine that he would use as a puppet to take over the galaxy. When the imperator discovered the threat from Luke for the first time, he said Vader: “I have no doubt that this boy is the descendant of Anakin Skywalker … The power is strong with him.”
9- “The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant besides the power of power.” – Darth Vader
When Admiral Motti brags about the skills of the Death Star, Darth Vader tells him ominously: “The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant besides the power of power.” However, Motti does not believe in power.
He makes a fateful mistake when he says: “Do not try to frighten us with the way your magician, Lord Vader. Their sad devotion to this old religion has not helped them to conjure up the stolen databases or give them enough clairvoyance to find the hidden fortress of the rebels … «And then he is cut off by Vader Force. This is when Vader expresses the immortal words, “I find your lack of faith worrying.”
8- “I’m afraid something terrible happened.” – Obi Wan Kenobi
In the original war of the star film, as Obi-Wan Kenobi describes the disorder in power he feels, we get the very first insight (in the order of publication, not in the chronological order) in the feeling of feeling the balance of power.
He explains, “I felt a great disorder in power … as if millions of voices suddenly cry out for fear and suddenly be silenced. I’m afraid something terrible has happened. ”We hear a lot about the power, but this is one of the few times in which we are told how power actually feels – and it doesn’t sound comfortable.
7- “Now I know that there is something strong than fear – much stronger. The strength. ” – Kanan Jarrus
Kanan Jarrus probably has the most fascinating journey into the war of the stars when it comes to researching power, spending a large part of his time after blindness to learn something about the power, to understand it and become one with it and she to use in a new way.
Before that, however, he still had his eyesight in season 1 and wanted to try the large -call quisitor. In the final of the season in her last duel, the Grand Inquisitor tries to use fear as a weapon, but overcomes Kanan and says to his rival: “You were right, I was a coward, but now I know that there is something stronger than fear – a lot Stronger. The power. Let me show you how strong it is. ”How he defeats him.
6- “The crazy thing is … it is true. The power, the Jedi. All of it. It’s all true. ” – Han solo
When Han Solo Rey first mentions the events of the original trilogy, she is awesome. As far as she knew, it was all a bunch of hearsay that was invented to inspire people. Rey says amazed, “The Jedi were real?” Han confirms that the legends she has heard all her life are true stories.
“I was surprised myself. I thought it was a bunch of eye -catchers: a magical force that holds well and evil, the dark side and the light together. The crazy thing is … it is true. The power, the Jedi. All of it. It’s all true. ”
5- “Remember, the strength of a Jedi flows out of power. But be careful: anger, fear, aggression – the dark side, they are. ” – Yoda
In the return of the Jedi, when Luke returns to Dagobah to see Yoda, the wise old Jedi, who trained him in the way of power, he finds out that he is lying on the deathbed. Yoda finally dies at the age of around 900. Shortly before he goes, he gives Luke some very wise advice on how to use the power.
He says, “Remember, the strength of a Jedi flows from power. But be careful: anger, fear, aggression – these are the dark sides. ”He wants to make sure that Luke keeps his emotions in check and does not slip into the dark side.
4- “It is an energy field that is created by all living things.” – Obi Wan Kenobi
This is the line that every war of the star fan refers to the question of Midi-Chlorines. The dark threat once again connected this Obi Wan quotation by claiming that Force users had Midi-Chlorines in their blood. However, fans still like to believe that Obi-Wan was right when he said Luke: “Well, the power Jedi gives you his power. It is an energy field that is created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us; It connects the galaxy. ”
That doesn’t sound like it is in the bloodstream of people. It makes it more of a religious deity that corresponds more to the topics of the saga (and the established canon of the original trilogy).
3- “Don’t underestimate power.” – Darth Vader
When Obi-Wan arrive on the Death Star for the first time, Darth Vader can feel him. He felt a presence of power that he did not feel until the last time he was near his Jedi master-and later we would find out in George Lucas’ Prequel trilogy that it was a rather memorable time since he was Loosed his arms and legs and primarily put in the Darth Vader suit.
He has freaked out that Obi-Wan could be nearby, which is understandable. Grand Moff Tarkin tries to calm him down, but Vader tells him: “Don’t underestimate the power.”
2- “Power surrounds you, Rey.” – Anakin Skywalker
The war of the stars The continuation trilogy may be incredibly split and controversial, but it cannot be denied that it still offered some fascinating, wonderful moments, including Rey, who spoke to the Jedi at the peak of her fight with Sidious. When the strength was recovered, the Jedi led her to the past.
Anakin Skywalker is one of these voices that concentrate on power by saying: “Bring the balance back, Rey as I did.” “The power surrounds you Rey.” and “Let yourself be lifted.” Accompanied by other voices such as Obi-Wan, Luke, Mace Windu, Yoda, Kanan, Adi Gallia, Luminara, Ahsoka, Aayla Secura and Qui-Gon, all Rey help.
1 “Remember the power will always be with you.” – Obi Wan Kenobi
Han Solo explains early in the first war of the star film that he does not believe in power. He says a loyal Lukas, “Child, I flew from one side of this galaxy to another. I saw a lot of strange things, but I never saw anything that made me believe that an almighty power controls everything. There is no mystical energy field that controls my fate. ”
Of course, he would see this evidence at the end of the film, since Luke used the power to place the photon explosion in the air shaft on the top of the Death Star, which would go beyond him (thanks to a last-minute pep conversation from Obi- Wans Force Spirit).
